If An English Oak's butler were to describe this manor house he would describe the rooms in this way...click on a picture for room details.

"It has been my privilege to work for the Lord and Lady of An English Oak for many years. His Lordship is fond of country pursuits and the FOXGLOVE ROOM reflects this. He takes afternoon tea on the west facing balcony overlooking the Olema Valley. It has a queen bed and bathroom with shower."

The Lavender Room

"Her Ladyship heralds from Wales and the LAVENDER ROOM has touches of lace from her homeland. This sunny queen-bedded south and west facing room has a large private bathroom with a tub to befit a lady."

"She likes to sketch and can do this from the PRIMROSE SUITE'S private deck. Decorated in a floral theme, it draws inspiration from the magnificent garden. It has a king bed and bathroom with shower."

The Snapdragon Room

"Being great travellers, the house holds many objects from the Lord and Lady's adventures. The SNAPDRAGON ROOM, facing east, is fitting as it has many treasures from the Orient. It has a queen bed and bathroom with a shower."

"The HOLLYHOCK SUITE with touches from the New World appropriately looks west. This suite has a queen bedded room with separate living room with a double bed."

Periwinkle Cottage

" The PERIWINKLE COTTAGE on the grounds of An English Oak has a queen bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and private bath with shower. In the living room a trundle bed can sleep 2 additional guests. If the views of the Olema Valley are not enough there is a TV and VCR. For cosy evenings there is a fireplace and for sunny days a private garden."

"The BRAMBLE SUITE adjoins the house but has its own separate entrance.  This spacious high ceiling suite is furnished with a queen bed, kitchenette, dining table and sofas.  It has an adjoining double bedded room.  With south and west facing windows it is bathed in sunshine."

The Garden

"Guests sometimes like to take a tray into the GARDEN for breakfast."

"The DRAWING ROOM, with its touches of tartan, reflects his Lordship's home in Scotland.  One can sit by the fire with a cup of tea or coffee after a day exploring Point Reyes.  The large open fire is a perfect place to sit by as the evening draws to a close."
